CAT'S EYE NEBULA

"When the sky is torn apart, so it was (like) a red rose, like ointment."                               (Ar-Rahman,55) 

This picture of the "Cat's Eye Nebula," taken on September 18, 1994, by the NASA Hubble Space Telescope is officially referred to as NGC 6543. Estimated to be 1,000 years old, the nebula is a visual "fossil record" of the dynamics and late evolution of a dying star. NGC 6543 is an exploding star 3,000 light-years away in the northern constellation Draco.

The “Cat’s Eye Nebula” is exactly look like red rose as mentioned in Quran, and it should be label as "Oily Red Rose Nebula." The question is, how would the Quran know that when a star explodes, it is like an oily red rose, since it has been stated around 1,400 years ago? The only reason is, the Quran is kitabullah.

The Very Fine Tuning In The Universe

He to Whom the kingdom of the heavens and the earth belongs. He does not have a son and He has no partner in the Kingdom. He created everything and determined it most exactly. (Quran, 25:2)

And there is not a thing but with Us are the stores thereof. And we send it not down save in appointed measure.(Quran, 15:21)

Materialist philosophy emerged with the claim that all the systems in nature and the universe were like machines that functioned on their own, that the flawless order and balance within them were the work of chance. However, today, the false nature of materialism and of Darwinism, its so-called scientific foundation, has been scientifically demonstrated.

The discoveries of the 20th century that emerged rapidly, one after another, in the fields of astronomy and biology have proved that life and the universe were created. The Big Bang theory denied the theory of Darwinism, which shown that the universe was created from nothing. Discoveries have revealed that there is a significant design and fine-tuning in the galaxies. In other word, the creation of universe and the fine tuning of material world proven that the God existance.

The Expanding Universe

And the heaven We built with Our own powers and indeed We go on expanding it. [51:48]

It was only as recent as the 1920s when Edwin Hubble made the discovery that the galaxies were speeding away from each other. The above verse, which was revealed to the Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW) some 1400 years ago, clearly confirms what Hubble observed. This concept of the expanding universe is unique to the Quran and no other holy books comes even close to describing such a phenomenon.

The discovery of the expanding universe has been the greatest landmark in the scientific field. Newton and others should have realized that a static universe would mean that it would soon start to contract under the influence of gravity. If the universe was expanding at a slower rate, then the force of gravity would eventually cause it to stop and the universe would start contracting. If instead, it was expanding at a rapid rate, then gravity would never be strong enough to stop it, and thus the universe would be expanding forever.

 

The understanding of the expanding universe is important to scientists because it helps create a better understanding in creation of the universe. Hubble’s research suggested a hypothesis that the further a galaxy is, the faster it is moving away. This meant that the universe is not static as it was thought it to be, but it is expanding. In conclusion, the space between the different galaxies is growing all the time.

Creation of Universe

Do not the disbelievers see that the heavens and the earth were a closed-up mass, then We opened them out? And We made of water every living thing. Will they not then believe? [21:31]

The above verse clearly agrees with the present day knowledge of the beginning of the universe. No other holy books has this brilliant description of the creation of the universe. It was Edwin Hubble’s observations in 1929, which suggested that was a time when the universe was extremely small and dense. He discovered that wherever one looked, it appeared that the distant galaxies are moving rapidly away from each other. If this was the case then it designated that at earlier times objects would have been closer together.

It also stated that every living things were made from water. It shows that only earth have a living things because it contains water. It proven that Allah is Almighty and show the Quran is a word from God.
